The making of Jacoby Ellsbury
Steal of Home
Ellsbury became the first Sox player since Billy Hatcher did it in 1994 to steal home. The centerfielder ignited the crowd after he took advantage of New York Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte's slow deliver in the fifth inning of the April 26 Sunday night game. The steal of home was part of a three-run inning that led to a 4-1 Red Sox victory.
