A star is born?
With Crisp struggling in the playoffs, Red Sox manager Terry Francona made the decision to replace him with Ellsbury in Game 6 of the 2007 American League Championship Series against Cleveland. It's a decision that paid off in a big way, as Ellsbury hit .375 in the ALCS and World Series while driving in four runs and scoring seven times.
