Daisuke Matsuzaka, SP
Fast fact: Opponents hit .216 against him his first time through the batting order, .247 the second time, .288 the third time.
Lowdown: So much for eight pitches -- Matsuzaka got a little too reliant on one last season, his fastball. The team is well aware of the problem, and they'll work to correct it. After getting through his off-field adjustments last season, the team (and Matsuzaka) hope that the only adjustments the 15-game winner will have to make are batter to batter.
