Javier Lopez, RP
Fast fact: Allowed only one hit, a single, off the Green Monster in 80 opponent at-bats at Fenway.
Lowdown: It's hard to be a lefty specialist when you can't get lefties out. In 2007, Lopez allowed a .176 batting average to righties in 68 at-bats. But against lefties, he allowed a .293 average in 82 at-bats. That's not going to cut it, though neither number jibes with his career totals. He pitched 40 2/3 innings, his highest total in the majors since 2004.
