Bronson Arroyo made his Red Sox debut in relief of Pedro Martinez, pitching three shutout innings against the Mariners to pick up a save. The Red Sox acquired Arroyo on Feb. 4, 2003, claiming him off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
