Red Sox
The Red Sox designated Mark Bellhorn for assignment on Aug. 19, 2005, ending his tenure with the club after a rocky season. He was picked up by the Yankees 11 days later, and is currently on the Padres roster. His biggest hits as a member of the Sox came in the 2004 postseason. He hit a three-run shot in Game 6 of the ALCS, and what turned out to be a game-winning two-run blast in the World Series opener.
