As Rookie of the Year in '97, he hit 30 home runs and drove in 98 runs. Nomar won the batting title in 1999, hitting .357, and again in 2000, batting .372. Nomar, unhappy with his contract situation, was traded to the Cubs in July 2004 and missed out on the World Series victory in Boston.
