Freddy Sanchez2B, San Francisco Giants
The Red Sox sent Sanchez to Pittsburgh in exchange for Jeff Suppan in 2003, and he became a full-timer in 2006, leading the NL in batting average (.344) and doubles (53) while driving in 85 runs. Midway through 2009, Sanchez was unloaded to San Francisco, which signed him through 2012. He played just 60 games last year, hitting .289, before being shut down for the season with a shoulder injury. Sanchez is continuing his rehab and hopes to return to the field this season.
