Breslow pitched 12 innings for the Red Sox in 2006 and didn't appear in a game in 2007. He was on the playoff roster for the club and did win a World Series ring, despite not even pitching in the postseason. After 2007 Breslow was claimed off of waivers by the Cleveland Indians, where he pitched a total of 8.1 innings. By mid-May the club put Breslow up for assignment and he was picked up by the Minnesota Twins. The remainder of 2008 was solid for the lefthander as he threw 38.2 innings with a 1.63 ERA. In 2009, to clear roster space, the Twins again put Breslow up for assignment. He was claimed by the Oakland Athletics where he has appeared in 42 games, given up 21 hits, and held batters to a .178 batting average.
