The young and the restless
Robinson Cano, 25, won an AL batting title in his second year in the league (2006), but is hitting just .265 with low power numbers and was recently moved to the bottom of the Yankees lineup from his customary second spot. However, Cano has picked it up since the All-Star break, hitting .518 (14-27) with a pair of homers. Jacoby Ellsbury, 24, has one steal and has struck out 22 times in his last in his last 27 games, seeing his average drop from .283 to .259 in that span.
