The Rangers were more than capable. A run-scoring walk and an RBI single by Jason Bay plated two more for the Sox in the bottom of the third, but then things began to fall apart in the fifth.

Texas' Ian Kinsler led off with a double, and then moved to third on this wild pitch that eluded Sox catcher Kevin Cash. Kinsler scored on a Josh Hamilton single that made it 12-3.
