After turning in one his finest outings of the season in Anaheim -- six innings of one-run ball in outdueling previously undefeated Angels rookie Jered Weaver -- Josh Beckett left in the seventh with a small cut on the left side of his right middle finger. He did, however, take the mound in Oakland on Tuesday night to make his next scheduled start.
