Jonathan Papelbon, RP Mazz's grade: A- Speaking of impossible standards -- Papelbon blew five saves this year (as opposed to three in 2007) and his opponents batting average jumped from .146 to .223. Those are still great numbers, but he looked a little more hittable this year. Still, he remains a force and has never allowed a run in the postseason. Give thanks that the Red Sox have him.
