Two of the best managers in the game. Terry Francona has had the edge in the postseason on Mike Scioscia (pictured), but the Angels won eight of nine regular-season matchups. Manufacturing runs will be a major aspect. Little things like sending the runners and staying out of double plays, going first to third (the Angels did this 105 times on a single, tied for most in the AL). Both teams need to stay aggressive. Scioscia has more depth on offense and in his bullpen than he's ever had. He also managed a team that won 50 games both at home and on the road, so Francona has to find a way to win in Anaheim. Last year, Scioscia had to manage through some tough injuries and wound up being swept. Now Francona must avoid a similar fate.
