Injuries led to the Angels' demise in last year's ALDS, and the same fate could doom the Red Sox this season. Mike Lowell (partially torn labrum in his hip) and J.D. Drew (back) continue to be evaluated, and their uncertainty surely will play havoc with the lineup. Sean Casey, Coco Crisp, and Mark Kotsay will play a larger role if Lowell or Drew are limited. Jason Bay (pictured), a playoff novice, has to pick up some of the slack left by the trade of Manny Ramirez, one of the fiercest postseason hitters of all time.
