Kevin Youkilis showed his flexibility as a player this season, his first as a full-time player. He learned how to play first base, hit in multiple positions in the batting order, and even moved to the outfield for a handful of games. Youkilis showed he could handle either corner of the infield (only five errors at first) and still put up adequate offensive numbers (.279, 13 HRs, 72 RBIs).
