Find a starting catcher (and a backup)
We're about eight weeks away from the start of spring training and the Red Sox still do not have a single major league-ready catcher on their roster. Jason Varitek (pictured) could still return, but do the Sox have a sour taste in their mouth after dealing with Scott Boras -- who represents Varitek -- in the failed Teixeira talks? On the free-agent front, there's really not much else out there (Paul Bako, anyone?) besides a well-past-his-prime Ivan Rodriguez.
