Add a starting pitcher
Do the Red Sox need a starting pitcher as well? The projected rotation looks something like this -- Josh Beckett, Jon Lester, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Tim Wakefield, Clay Buchholz (?), Justin Masterson (?). Notice the question marks there? The Sox could certainly use another veteran arm to give them more options. Derek Lowe is probably the best remaining starter out there, but he is rumored to be close to joining the Mets. Other intriguing free agents include John Smoltz (pictured), Ben Sheets, Brad Penny, Andy Pettitte, and Pedro Martinez (yep, him too).
