Ruth was in his second-to-last season as a member of the Red Sox in 1918, and he was the winning pitcher in Game 1 and Game 4. His ERA was 1.06, but he wasn't as good at the plate, hitting only .200 with no home runs, although he only had five at-bats in three games.
