Red Sox
Fast fact: Grounded into just four double plays, one every 123.5 ABs. Lowdown: Perhaps no one has profited more from Matsuzaka-mania than Drew, who has been allowed to go quietly about his business this spring without the scrutiny that greeted his signing of a five-year, $70 million deal in the winter. He fills an obvious void: the Sox had the lowest batting average in the league in the 5-hole (.231) and also ranked last in HRs (14) and RBIs (75), and he can’t possibly be any more injury prone than the guy he replaces, Trot Nixon, who had offseason back surgery.
