Shaky defense has been all too common at shortstop, whether it has been Nick Green (left) or Julio Lugo stationed there. Red Sox shortstops have made 11 errors, most of any team in the majors. Included in those miscues are two by Green on Sunday, the final of which resulted in the Mariners walking off with a victory in the ninth inning. .
