Aguilera split his time between the Mets and Twins for 10 seasons before he was traded to the Red Sox in July 1995. He was 2-2 with 20 saves and a 2.67 ERA in 30 relief appearances for the Sox. After the 1995 season he rejoined the Twins for four seasons before ending his career in 2000 with the Cubs.
