Steve Avery

Avery was a star for the red-hot Braves for six seasons in the early '90s before joining the Sox in 1997 as a replacement for Roger Clemens. He pitched two years for the Red Sox, going 16-14 over two seasons with a 5.64 ERA. He pitched for the Reds in 1999 and disappeared from baseball until a brief stint with the Tigers in 2003.
