Bichette joined the Sox in 2000 after putting up huge RBI numbers with the Rockies. He struggled as a power hitter in Boston and grew frustrated platooning as a designated hitter; he was dealt to the Dodgers in 2002 but retired before ever playing a game for Los Angeles.
