Roger Clemens In January 2013, the seven time Cy Young award winner was denied entry to baseball's Hall of Fame along with steroid-tainted stars Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa. In July 2012, Roger Clemens was acquitted of all charges by a jury that decided he did not lie to Congress when he denied using PEDs to extend his career. In August 2010, federal authorities indicted Clemens on charges of making false statements to Congress about his use of PEDs. Clemens has vehemently denied ever using steroids despite multiple accusations. Clemens' trainer for years, Brian McNamee, testified before a federal grand jury that he had injected Clemens with HGH.
