In Game 1, Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz hit the grass as he bounded off the mound and fielded a third-inning, two-out grounder off the bat of Tampa Bay's Jason Bartlett, then got up and made a nice off balance throw to first baseman Casey Kotchman to retire the side. (continued)
