Okajima, 34, has regressed slightly in each of his three seasons with the Sox, his ERA rising from 2.22 in '07 to 3.39 last year. That small cause for concern expressed, he has been a crucial member of the bullpen since his under-the-radar arrival, and the Red Sox are counting on him to be so again in '10.
