Jonathan Papelbon through the years

Papelbon, who has saved at least 30 games in each of his six full seasons, has a charismatic (some might say goofy) personality when he's not on the mound. Following the Sox' 2007 World Series victory, he told "Late Night Show" host David Letterman that his dog chewed up the ball used to record the final out. He's worn a Rick Vaughn mohawk after losing a bet to Kevin Youkilis and refers to himself as "Cinco Ocho," a reference to his No. 58 jersey number.
