Ranking the 2011 Red Sox, 25-to-1

25. Andrew Miller
Previously: UnrankedThe reasons the 2007 first-round draft pick (chosen sixth overall, ahead of Tim Lincecum and Clayton Kershaw) appeals to the Red Sox as a reclamation project are obvious: lefthanders who can dial it up to the mid-90s are always a commodity, even those with a career 5.78 ERA. But Miller is still a project, as evidenced by his 6.91 ERA at Fenway this season, and if he's pitching a meaningful situation in October, something has gone wrong. If you want to make the point that lefty Franklin Morales belongs here instead, you'll get little argument.
