Bobby Valentine: Career highs and lows

In 1985, Valentine was third base coach for the New York Mets when the Texas Rangers hired him 32 games into the season to be their manager. At the time, he was 35, the youngest manager in the majors.
The next year, the Rangers finished second, as did Valentine in manager of the year voting.
But he wasn't able to replicate that success, and was fired early in the 1992 season when the team finished fourth.
