Meet the 2011 Red Sox draft picks

Blake Swihart Picked: First round, No. 26 He's from: Cleveland High School in Rio Rancho, N.M. Position: Catcher About him: Hit .602 with five home runs and 41 RBI in 28 games with V. Sue Cleveland High School. He led USA Baseball's 18U national team last summer in batting average (.448) and had five homers and 17 RBIs in 17 games. Red Sox scouting director Amiel Sawdaye says: 'Team USA was huge. Obviously a chance to see him against some of the best competition, his own peers in the draft. Certainly a guy in the summer, not just with Team USA but throughout multiple showcases, performed with the bat and made us really comfortable playing catcher.'
