Red Sox general managers through the years
Following the 1978 season the team saw its star players leave one by one. Haywood Sullivan was at the helm when Luis Tiant, Carlton Fisk, Fred Lynn, and Bill Lee departed.
While the team floundered Sullivan was involved with ownership disputes that saw his dismissal as GM in 1983. Sullivan (left) eventually sold his share in the team to John Harrington (right) in 1993.
