9. David Ortiz will be re-signed.
He'll turn 36 next month, but Papi is still a dependable middle-of-the-order threat -- he finished with 29 homers and 96 RBIs, hit over .300 (.309) for the first time since 2007, and had his highest OPS (.953) since the same season. His options will be limited to AL teams because he's a designated hitter, and many of his potential suitors such as the Yankees already have a DH or two. He'll stay where he belongs.
