Aug. 20: Royals 9, Red Sox 4 Tim Wakefield took a three-run lead into the bottom of the sixth inning against the Royals Saturday night, putting him on the doorstep of his elusive 200th career win. But Wakefield came out of the game with one out in the sixth, and the Red Sox came apart from there.
