Crawford was involved in a June 2008 fight between the Sox and Tampa Bay Rays when Coco Crisp charged the mound and pitcher James Shields at Fenway in 2008.
According to Yahoo.com, Crawford and Crisp had an exchange.
“He better not have said my name,” Crawford said. “Coco don’t know me.” Crisp, Yahoo reported, did say Crawford’s name. He said that in the pig pile during the brawl, Crawford had tugged the dangling ends of his cornrows, like “a little girl.”
