Terry Francona, manager

It is fitting that the only Red Sox manager in 88 years to win a World Series would be the most beloved in Boston. Terry Francona, with a 279-207 record as the Sox manager, won with 68 percent of the votes. Joe Morgan finished a respectable second with 23 percent. Left off? '78 skipper Don Zimmer and the cantankerous Jimy Williams.
