Grady (right), popular with players for his laid-back style, compiled one of the highest winning percentages (.580) in Red Sox history, going 188-136. He's remembered for his controversial decision to leave Pedro Martinez on the mound, after he gave up gave up three straight hits, during Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS. Jorge Posada tied the game with a single off of Pedro and the Yankees went on to win the game (and the pennant) in the 11th inning.
