In the days leading up to Opening Day, Boston Dirt Dogs takes a look back the most beloved Red Sox players at each position (1967-2010), and we ask you to pick your favorites.Brunansky, a dependable power-hitter for the Minnesota Twins for most of the 1980s, came over to the Red Sox from the Cardinals in a 1990 trade that saw closer Lee Smith leave town for St. Louis. With the tying runs on base and the Sox holding a 3-1 lead over the White Sox in the final game of the 1990 season, "Bruno" (pictured here on left with Jack Clark), made a spectacular diving catch in Fenway's right field corner to end the game, clinching the American League East title for the Sox. It was his signature moment in his three years in Boston. (Brunansky's stats and facts)
