MOST BELOVED STARTER
Luis Tiant
"Looie" became one of the most popular players in Red Sox history in the '70s and won 20 games three times for Boston. Tiant smoked cigars and spoke with a thick Cuban accent and was known for his complex, twisting windup on the mound. Tiant went 21-12 in '76, the last time he would win 20 games.
