Clemens pitched eight innings against the Orioles, allowing two earned runs and striking out six. It was another win in the Rocket's dominant 1986 season. Clemens won the MVP as well as the AL Cy Young award that season, posting a 24-4 record. He racked up 238 strikeouts with a 2.48 ERA for the Red Sox.
