Now that the Red Sox' bid has been accepted by the Seibu Lions, they have 30 days to work out a contract with Daisuke Matsuzaka and his agent, Scott Boras (pictured). Should the Sox not work out terms of a deal within that span, they would not have to pay the posting fee to Japan. The clock to the right shows how much longer Theo Epstein and the Sox have to negotiate with Boras before the deadline expires.
