Take the Orange Line to Ruggles and catch the free shuttle bus to Fenway. The first bus leaves Ruggles at 5:30 for 7:00 games. On day games, I believe the first bus leaves an hour and a half before game time.

Rather than suffer from affixation on the green line, or pay the outrageous game parking prices, look for meter spots. BU classes start at seven, and kids tend to get there about 30 minutes early. The other classes are ending at the same time. So while there are summer classes, which more kids tend to drive to, show up around that time and look for meters.

Taking the Green Line, get on a D train and get off at the Fenway stop, one stop past Kenmore. It has a lot less foot traffic and might even be a little closer to the park.

Avoid the Green Line at all costs - it's worth it to just take a cab. Ask the driver to get you as "close as you can", because he's going to grumble as soon as as you tell him where you're going. Agree on a dollar amount with your comrade(s) and see how close you can get to the park before a) you exceed it, or b) you look out the window and realize it's now faster to walk the rest of the way.

I take my bike a 10 minute ride along Commonwealth Ave. and I'm in Kenmore - no parking woes either - piece of cake!

We drive route 93 south to Sullivan Square, park for $3.00 and take the Orange Line to Haymarket Square. There we change to the Green Line to Kenmore Square. The T for 2 costs $5.00 round-trip. Total cost $8.00. No hassle driving into Boston? Priceless!

Park in one of the lots along Boylston Street if you have young kids. I arrive shortly before game time, usually find a $20 space at the McDonald's where I won't get boxed in. I can leave early if the kids are complaining.

Walk. If you're anywhere near Boston, it's faster, less face-in-armpit time than the Green Line and you get the ambiance of walking with your fellow fans. Also, if you get parched on the way, you can stop at one of the many bars en route to refresh yourself.

The best way to get to Fenway is to take the Green Line. I understand it can get crowded - very crowded; but it is a part of the Fenway experience. Paying only a couple of bucks for tokens gets you to the park with ease. Being squished on a train with 1,000 more Red Sox fans is fun.

Pretty simple. You park in Hopkinton and run the Marathon route. No problem!

Coming from CT, the best method of transportation is by far the Riverside Green Line all the way into Kenmore.

I always park in Cambridge, right across the BU Bridge, and then walk down Commonwealth Ave.

For a game at 7 p.m., I usually leave Framingham at 4:15. I take Route 9 Eastbound taking a left onto Chestnut Hill Lane. This road takes you to Beacon St. Take a right onto Beacon and drive until youre closest to the park and u-turn to the other side of Beacon (so that way I'm already facing the way). Usually a fair amount of parking in this area and you only need to fill the parking meter until 6pm then it is free. Walk 5 min to the park.

Get off Storrow Drive down by the Common and get onto Beacon Street (less traffic than staying on Storrow). Follow Beacon up to the Fenway area, before you hit the BU bookstore, fork off to the right and go behind BU. There is an abundance of metered spots here, and if you time it right, you get a spot as someone leaves work.

As a BU alum, I know the best way to get to Fenway is to drive in taking Memorial drive, go over the BU Bridge, then ditch the car at one of the many broken meters on Comm. Ave. It's a short walk down to the park and you're not paying an arm and a leg at one of the many area lots.

Take the Orange line and walk from Back Bay. The time you spend walking to and from Fenway would be spent waiting to get packed onto the Green Line and a little exercise never hurt anyone anyhow.

Park at the Pru and walk over. With your ticket stub, its only $10.

I take the #39 bus and then get off at the Museum of Fine Arts and walk across the Fens to get to the game. On the way home, I might take the more lighted street back to the #39 route, but either way I get home quick and the bus is never jammed.

The best kept secret for getting to Fenway is taking the Framingham/Worcester Line from either South Station or Back Bay to the Yawkey stop. At around nine minutes from South Station to Yawkey and less from Back Bay, it allows you to circumvent the jammed pack cars of the Green line which in the summer time or in the "heat" of a pennant race can be odoriferous saunas on wheels, along with taking roughly 30-45 minutes to get from South Station to Kenmore.

For those of you who live west of the city, the best way to get to the game is to drive into Brighton/Newton near Oak Square and take the 57 bus. That way you can park for free on the street, take a 10-15 minute bus ride to Kenmore and when the game is over, there's not much of a crowd on the bus.

I take the 1 bus from Cambridge over the Mass. Ave Bridge. It's a five-minute walk from Mass Ave/Comm Ave. Pretty smooth.

Song Air from Las Vegas to Boston then the Blue Line to the Green Line.

I'm taking Mass Ave to Beacon St. Turn left, and go through the BU campus by the admissions office so you can avoid the Kenmore Square traffic. Then park in the lot next to Burger King on the opposite side of Kenmore Square. (Taking a right when looking at the Pizzaria Uno instead of left to Fenway.) If you're there by 6 p.m., the traffic is not bad at all.

Park at Lechmere, it's only $3. Then hop on the Green Line and it's smooth sailing to Kenmore Square.

I come in from work at Hanscom AFB via Route 128, then to Route 2, then on to Storrow. Avoid Kenmore square by coming in on Bay State Road to Deerfield Street by Boston University to park next to Kenmore. If you tip the parking lot attendant they will park you for an early out and you can exit quickly onto Com Ave. Bang a right over the BU Bridge and make your escape via route 2A through Cambridge.

Drive from the North Shore, Rt. 1. Park at the lot after the Copy Cop near Park Street (on weekends and after 4 PM weekdays, its only $8). Ride the green line from Park to Kenmore.

I just shoot in Route 9 and come in through Brookline Ave. and park at the movie theatre. Easy out after the game, too.

I drive to the Boston Common parking garage or the meters around the Common and take the green line from Park St or Arlington. There is no more efficient way to get in.
