Curry, Lee lift Warriors past Mavericks in OT

DALLAS (AP) — Stephen Curry scored 20 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter and overtime and David Lee’s layup with 32.8 seconds left helped the Golden State Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 105-101 Monday night.

Curry had six points and three assists in the extra period. The fourth-year guard passed to Lee on his go-ahead basket that put Golden State up 101-99.

Dallas’ O.J. Mayo scored 27 points, including all 11 of the Mavericks’ points in overtime. His 8-footer in the lane tied it at 99 with 41.2 seconds left in the extra period.

Lee had 17 points and a season-high 19 rebounds, and rookie Harrison Barnes had 20 points and 12 rebounds for Golden State.

Mavericks point guard Darren Collison hit a 20-foot jumper with 36.9 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

Dallas has lost five of seven since a 4-1 start.end of story marker
