The 18-game streak ties the seventh longest in NBA history, and is the league’s best since the Celtics won 19 straight during the 2008-09 season. Miami will try for No. 19 when it hosts Atlanta on Tuesday night.

Dwyane Wade scored 23 points for the Heat, who controlled the game despite a season-low 13 points from LeBron James. David West had 24 points for the Pacers.

Lakers 90, Bulls 81 — Dwight Howard had 16 points and 21 rebounds, and Kobe Bryant added 19 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds as host Los Angeles beat Chicago.

Nate Robinson led the Bulls with 19 points, and Joakim Noah had 18 points and 17 rebounds.

Raptors, 100, Cavaliers 96 — Amir Johnson’s 17 points 16 rebounds led host Toronto over Cleveland. Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving was knocked out by a shoulder injury in the third quarter after he collided with the Raptors’ Jonas Valanciunas.

Magic 99, 76ers 91 — Jameer Nelson had 24 points and 10 assists, and Nik Vucevic added 14 points and 17 rebounds as host Orlando held off Philadelphia.

Mavericks 100, Timberwolves 77 — Vince Carter had 22 points and nine rebounds to help visiting Dallas defeat Minnesota.

Hornets 98, Trail Blazers 96 — Ryan Anderson capped a 20-point game with a layup as he was fouled with 1.8 seconds left as host New Orleans rallied past Portland.

Clippers 129, Pistons 97 — Blake Griffin scored 22 points and Chris Paul added 20 as Los Angeles routed visiting Detroit.

Bucks 115, Kings 113 — Monta Ellis had 29 points as Milwaukee beat host Sacramento, which received 24 points and 10 rebounds from DeMarcus Cousins before he was ejected in the third quarter following a flagrant-2 foul for elbowing Mike Dunleavy.
