Bulls present Skiles with successful debut

Jamal Crawford scored a career-high 30 points as the Bulls ended a seven-game losing streak and made coach Scott Skiles a winner in his debut by beating the Milwaukee Bucks, 97-87, last night in Chicago.
Two newly acquired Bulls also stood out. Jerome Williams finished with 13 points, a team-high 10 rebounds, and 4 steals, and Antonio Davis added 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.
Eddy Curry had 22 points, including a monster dunk to stop a 12-0 Milwaukee run that pulled the Bucks within 91-87 late in the fourth quarter.
Crawford then sealed the victory with a dunk and a couple of free throws.
Michael Redd had 26 points for the Bucks, and Desmond Mason had 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Pistons 79, Knicks 78 -- New York scored only 9 points in the third quarter and 14 in the fourth to fritter away a 15-point lead as Detroit won in overtime at Madison Square Garden. Chauncey Billups scored 7 of his 24 points in overtime for the Pistons. Antonio McDyess made his Knicks debut, almost 14 months after he fractured his kneecap in an exhibition game, and he scored 2 points in 13 minutes.Pacers 89, Suns 82 -- Jermaine O'Neal had 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 blocked shots and visiting Indiana pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat Phoenix. O'Neal made five of six shots for 13 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and blocked 3 shots in the fourth quarter.
Clippers 91, Spurs 83 -- Corey Maggette scored 24 points and host Los Angeles took advantage of Tim Duncan's one-game suspension by scoring 50 points in the paint and beat San Antonio to end a six-game losing streak. First-round draft pick Chris Kaman came off the bench to score 15 points and grab 12 rebounds for the Clippers, who won for only the third time in their last 23 meetings with the Spurs.
Jazz 91, Nets 84 -- Andrei Kirilenko and DeShawn Stevenson scored 18 points apiece, and host Utah won its fourth straight by holding off New Jersey.
