Allen Iverson's career-high in assists helped Philadelphia make a nice pass in the standings.
Iverson had 23 points and 16 assists to help the 76ers sweep the season series against Cleveland with a 103-98 victory last night in Philadelphia and leapfrog the Cavaliers into seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race. While both Cleveland and Philadelphia are 38-37, the Sixers have the tiebreaker with three wins against the Cavaliers.

The Timberwolves fell 4 1/2 games behind the seventh-place Nuggets and 3 1/2 behind the eighth-place Grizzlies in the race for the final playoff spot in the West.
Warriors 127, Suns 119 -- At Oakland, Calif., Mickael Pietrus hit six 3-pointers while scoring a career-high 28 points, and Golden State matched its franchise record with 18 3-pointers in its eighth straight victory.
Mike Dunleavy had 28 points, including five threes, as the Warriors extended their longest winning streak since 1994.
The Suns had a six-game winning streak halted despite Amare Stoudemire's 44 points and 16 rebounds.
