Katie Douglas scored 22 points, and the host Connecticut Sun rallied from a 19-point deficit to beat the Phoenix Mercury, 82-77, yesterday.
The Mercury held the Eastern Conference-leading Sun to just 9 points in the second quarter, but Connecticut came out of the break and scored 31 in the third quarter to match the Mercury's second-half total.
Sparks 66, Sting 64 -- Murriel Page made two free throws with 47.3 seconds remaining to lift host Los Angeles. Chamique Holdsclaw led the Sparks with 19 points.
Phoenix Mercury guard and former UConn star Diana Taurasi was named a reserve for the Western Conference All-Star team. Douglas and Sun center Taj McWilliams-Franklin were added as reserves for the East.
