PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- The South Playground will never be confused with TD Banknorth Garden or Madison Square Garden. The few fans perched lazily in lawn chairs watching basketball games hardly resemble the rowdy rooters who fill the University of Connecticut's Gampel Pavilion . Scott Hazelton would know.
