Carter, Nets beat buzzer
Shot at buzzer caps rally from 20 down

Vince Carter hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer in overtime and the New Jersey Nets rallied from a 20-point halftime deficit to beat Atlanta, 93-91, ending the Hawks' six-game winning streak last night in East Rutherford, N.J.
Devin Harris added 26 points and 11 assists, and Carter finished with 18 points, with the final 3 coming from just inside 30 feet after he chased an inbound pass into the backcourt and hurried to get his shot off.
Atlanta's Mike Bibby had 22 points, and Josh Smith added 20, with his layup with 11 seconds left in overtime seemingly destined to be the winning basket.
Carter was fouled by Smith with 5.3 seconds to play and that forced the Nets to inbound from in front of their bench.
The inbounds pass by Jarvis Hayes went into the backcourt and Carter made the play of the game to get the Nets a rare home win in a contest in which New Jersey coach Lawrence Frank was ejected in a dismal second quarter.
Hayes hit a 3-pointer with 1:35 to play to give New Jersey a 90-87 lead, but the Hawks came back, getting within 2 points when Bibby made two of three free throws after being fouled by Harris on a 3-pointer with 20.7 seconds left in the overtime.
Lakers 113, Jazz 100 - Kobe Bryant scored 40 points and Los Angeles beat Utah for its fifth straight win and 17th in 18 home games.
Pau Gasol added 21 points, giving him 10,001 for his career.
Mehmet Okur had 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz. Ronnie Brewer added 20 points, and Deron Williams had 10 points and 12 assists.
Down 15 points to start the fourth quarter, Utah outscored the Lakers, 11-2, to get within 7. The Lakers didn't help themselves when Bryant missed two consecutive shots and Odom turned the ball over before Andrei Kirilenko scored off his own steal to draw the Jazz to 97-93 with 2:59 remaining.
Nuggets 122, Thunder 120 - Carmelo Anthony's 3-pointer from the corner with 0.1 seconds left capped a 31-point outing and lifted visiting Denver past Oklahoma City.
Anthony's winner came after Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant hit a 3-pointer with 2.7 seconds left to put the Thunder (4-30) ahead. Oklahoma City was seeking consecutive wins for the first time this season.
Timberwolves 115, Warriors 108 - Three days after surrendering a 29-point lead in the final 22 minutes of a loss to Dallas, Al Jefferson had 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead host Minnesota over Golden State.
Suns 106, Clippers 98 - Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points and host Phoenix extended its winning streak to three and dealt Los Angeles its sixth consecutive loss.

Pacers 105, Knicks 103 - Jarrett Jack made a jumper with 0.9 seconds left and scored a season-high 29 points, and visiting Indiana snapped a four-game losing streak.
Magic 86, Heat 76 - Rashard Lewis had 17 points and Jameer Nelson scored 16 to help host Orlando overcome a big game from Dwyane Wade (33 points) and beat Miami.
Cavaliers 117, Bulls 92 - Anderson Varejao scored a career-high 26 points, LeBron James had a triple-double (16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds), and Cleveland stayed unbeaten at home.
Raptors 94, Rockets 73 - Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani each scored 19 points to help host Toronto snap a three-game losing streak. Toronto held Houston to a season low in points.
