Sancho Lyttle scored 20 points to lead Atlanta to a 88-79 win over the Seattle Storm last night and move the host Dream into sole possession of second place in the Eastern Conference.

Lauren Jackson scored a game-high 25 points and went over the 5,000-point career milestone, but the Storm (13-11) lost for the fourth time in five games. Seattle is second in the Western Conference.

Sky 79, Lynx 76 - Roneeka Hodges scored 25 points, but visiting Minnesota’s fourth quarter rally fell short in Chicago. The Sky were led by Erin Thorn, who came off the bench to score 17.

Fever 82, Shock 59 - Katie Douglas scored 19 points, and Indiana overcame a 14-point deficit to beat visiting Detroit.

Sparks 78, Monarchs 61 - Candace Parker scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help visiting Los Angeles rout Sacramento.

Silver Stars 106, Mercury 89 - Sophia Young scored 25 to help host San Antonio set a franchise record for points in its victory over Phoenix.
